Celebrations to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the IHPST have begun as part of this year’s annual conference of the Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Science (CSHPS). A conference session dedicated to the history of the IHPST was held on May 27 at Ryerson University. Presenters included Brian Baigrie (core faculty member of the IHPST), Philip Enros (alumnus of the IHPST), Craig Fraser (Director of the IHPST), and Margaret Schabas (alumna of the IHPST).

A text of Brian Baigrie’s talk on Stillman Drake’s Intellectual Legacy can be viewed/downloaded here.

On the same day, a formal reception followed at Old Vic with registered participants of this years CSHPS annual conference in attendance.

More information about celebratory events will be posted on our website as they become available. Notice of all events will also be included in the Institute’s newsletter.
