The IHPST is delighted to have Dr. James Robert Brown as the leader of our March Research Seminar.
James Brown is Emeritus Professor of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. He received his Ph.D. from Western University. Before that he received an M.A. and a B.A. from the University of Guelph. His research interests are in the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of science, the foundations of physics, and the social relations of science. He has published numerous books and articles and his recent publications include:

- Routledge Companion to Thought Experiments (edited with M. Stuart and Y. Fehige) (Routledge, 2017)
